Meteora marks the beginning of a new life for two visitors!
On Saturday January 7th, a group of 10 Americans visited Meteora and joined our Meteora Hiking Tour for the second time, after one year.
When the hikers reached the summit of Papathymios Vlachavas, opposite of the ruined monastery of Ypapanti, they rested for a few minutes. At that time Amy was up for a surprise, as her fiancee Chris proposed to her, offering a beautiful ring! The ring was decorated with gemstones that used to belong to his grandmother’s jewels.
Of course, Amy’s answer was I do!
