Is there food or toiled in the bus?

No, but the bus will make a stop mid-way, where you can use the facilities and buy snacks.

Is the tour suitable for children and elderly travelers?

The tour is designed to accommodate travelers of all ages. However, please note that visiting the monasteries involves climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.

Is there a dress code to enter a monastery?

Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. Sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee for men are prohibited and you‘ll be denied access if dressed that way. For ladies skirts and shawls are available to borrow or buy at the entrance of monasteries in case they don’t have such clothing to cover themselves.

What time should I be at the station?

Please arrive at the station by 7:45 AM, at least 15 minutes before departure at 8:00 AM, to allow enough time to locate the bus.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, a printed ticket is not required. Simply provide your name or show your booking voucher on your phone when boarding the bus.

When do we return to Athens?

Return departs Kalambaka at 18:00, arriving back in Athens around 22:30—a full and rewarding day.

What if it rains?

All our bus tours run regardless of weather. If we are forced to cancel an activity because of extreme weather conditions, you have the option to change date or switch activity or cancel and receive a refund.

What is the Entrance fee for the monasteries?

In each monastery there is an entrance fee of 5€ per person. Kids up to 12 years old they don’t pay entrance fees in the monasteries.
