Dress Code for Monastery Visits: Please note that a modest dress code is enforced to enter the monasteries. For women, skirts below the knee or longer are required. Pants, shorts, or sleeveless shirts are not allowed. For men, sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee are also prohibited.
Climbing Steps to Monastery Tops: Please be aware that reaching the top of the monasteries involves climbing steps. There are no elevators available, so please consider this if you have any mobility concerns.
Rain or Shine: This tour will take place regardless of the weather conditions. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing and accessories to ensure a comfortable experience.
Departure Point: The tour will depart from Athens Railway Station (Stathmos Larissis) at 08:28 am. Please ensure you arrive at the station on time.
Meeting Point in Kalambaka: Upon arrival at Kalambaka’s train station at 12:49 pm, make your way to the outside. The tour guide will be waiting there along with a signboard bearing your name. Please keep an eye out for the guide to easily locate them.
Pick-up and Drop-off at Kalambaka Train Station: Your tour guide will be waiting for you at Kalambaka Train Station, regardless of any train delays. Please be aware that the activity provider is not responsible for any train delays that may affect the duration of the tour.
E-ticket Delivery: Your train e-tickets will be sent to you by email. Normally, you will receive them four days before your trip. However, if it is a last-minute reservation, your e-tickets will be sent immediately. Please remember to check your spam email folder as well.

First of all, keep in mind that, since every monastery closes on some days of the week, we do not visit the same monasteries every day. All our bus tours run regardless of weather. If we are forced to cancel an activity because of extreme weather conditions, you have the option to change date or switch activity or cancel and receive a refund.
You can make a booking with us literally at the last minute! Just keep in mind that there may be no seats left on the tour if you do that! We recommend booking at least one week in advance, in order to have the best chances of finding availability.
We have split our tours tom morning and afternoon ones. Furthermore, all our tours visit different places at Meteora. This way, you can combine any morning tour with any afternoon tour you wish! All all-time-classic combination is the Meteora Hiking Tour in the morning and the Meteora Sunset Tour in the afternoon.
